Maxim New Power Management IC for Li-ion battery-powered portable applications

Maxim (Maxim) has introduced the MAX8662/MAX8663 highly integrated power management IC, the device built-in USB / AC adapter linear charger and Smart Power Selector, suitable for single Li + rechargeable lifebook p1510 battery-powered portable devices. MAX8662/MAX8663 built-in Smart Power Selector circuitry that enables an external input power, the battery and system load seamless distribution, are ideal for smart phones, PDA, portable multimedia players and other portable devices such as the efficiency of such power to the customs important applications.

MAX8662 step-up provision of the way DC / DC converters can be used for up to seven WLED or OLED displays. Two step-down DC / DC converters with up to 97% efficiency, can provide 1V to 3.3V adjustable output, and support 1.2A and 900mA loads. Four LDO supports 500mA, 300mA and 150mA load two-way; in order to reduce power consumption, these devices can operate from 1.7V to 5.5V input voltage range. In addition, LDO has a selectable output voltage, eliminates the need for an external resistor divider, and reduce board space occupied.

MAX8662 uses a thermally enhanced, 6mm × 6mm, 48-pin TQFN package, while the MAX8663 is available in a thermally enhanced, 5mm × 5mm, 40-pin TQFN. The devices operate over the extended temperature range (-40 ℃ to +85 ℃). Prices lifebook t4220 battery start at $ 3.95 (1000-up, FOB USA).

BCD Single low-voltage op-amp for battery-powered applications AZV321

BCD Semiconductor (BCD Semiconductor Manufacturing Limited) has introduced a single low-voltage op amp AZV321, its rail-to-rail input and output drive capability to provide users with low-voltage applications require a wide dynamic range. Input common-mode voltage range includes ground. The amplifier has excellent fast power ratio at low supply currents up to 1MHz bandwidth and 1V/μs rising rates. AZV321 amplifier designed to fully satisfy the migration to a lower supply voltage, high-speed design requirements, it applies to active filters, low-power, low-voltage applications, general-purpose handheld devices, cellular phones, cordless phones and FPCBP155 battery-powered systems.

AZV321 advanced BiCMOS process. It has bipolar input and output stage, improved noise performance and achieve low input offset and higher output current drive. It also allows designers to place the device closer to where the signal source, reducing noise pickup and increase signal integrity.

In addition, it has the following characteristics:

2.7V to 5.5V performance guarantees;

No crossover distortion;

Gain Bandwidth Product 1MHz;

Low Supply Current: 130μA;

The 10kΩ load of the rail-to-rail output swing with battery blog;

- VOH up to VCC-10mV

- VOL close VEE +65 mV

VCM:-0.2V to VCC-0.8V

AZV321 for -40 ℃ to 85 ℃ the industrial temperature range, not only provides a standard SOT-23-5 package, it also provides SC70-5 package, which is about the size of SOT-23-5 package, half the battle. Small package saves printed circuit board space for lifebook t4210 battery, which can be used for hand-held portable electronic equipment designs.
